Connie Leung,

M.Ed., LMHC, NCC

Psychotherapist

Licensed Mental Health Counselor

National Certified Counselor

Connie is always enthusiastic to work with individuals who are facing challenges in life. When she sees clients walk away lighter, freer, happier, and excited to live their own personal journey after healing from wounds, disorders, and struggles in their path, she feels rewarded and fulfilled to make a positive change in their lives. She has been working in the mental health, school, community, and non-profit settings for more than 10 years.

Before pursuing her social work degree at Hong Kong Polytechnic University in Hong Kong, she volunteered at an orphanage in high school. She always felt compassion for and showed caring to people in need. In her earlier career, she offered individual and group counseling. She also conducted training for elementary, middle, and high schools and parents in Hong Kong.

After being a social worker in Hong Kong, Connie pursued her dream of studying abroad. She graduated with her master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Missouri–St. Louis. With a desire to work with a diverse population, Connie moved to Seattle, WA, to start her career.

Connie has extensive experience working with people of diverse cultures and backgrounds, particularly Asian American and Pacific Islanders (AAPI) and first- and second-generation immigrants. Connie is fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.

When Connie is not in her office, she likes exploring cities, as well as hiking, camping, and road trips throughout the Pacific Northwest. She also likes cooking and dancing to maintain a balanced and healthy lifestyle. In addition, she loves to grow in her knowledge of the field of psychology, and regularly attends seminars, training, and conferences to explore new ways to help her clients make a difference in life.
