Initial Intake Assessment
During an initial assessment, the therapist will gather information and discuss a person’s issues and therapy goals.
Individual Counseling
Each therapy session is a collaborative process between the therapist and the client. Therapy sessions can help people overcome barriers to well-being by teaching skills for handling difficult situations, making healthy decisions, and becoming more self-aware. Benefits of therapy may include an increase in positive feelings, such as hope, compassion, and self-esteem, and a greater ability to set and reach goals. Some people even continue with ongoing therapy for self-growth.
Online Counseling
Does your work schedule make it hard to meet a counselor-face-to-face? Do you need to stay at home to take care of family members? Do you live far away from the counseling office?
If any of these situations apply to you, our telehealth/online counseling option offers you the opportunity to see a therapist online instead of coming to the office in person. All you need is a smartphone, tablet, or computer, and the therapist can conduct a HIPAA-compliant online phone or video counseling session.
Please discuss with the therapist if you are interested in having an online counseling session.
